New and cool at Zara

New at Zara
My last trip to Zara left me overwhelmed: I liked the explosion of snakeskin, both on clothes and shoes and a few frivolous pieces for the night like the feather waistcoat and the silver painted top. This one that can be easily done using a summer lace top and silver fabric paint! Paint it,iron it and wear it! Are you ready to diy?

Leopard overload

1-H&M leopard scarf /2-leopard sheer scarf top/ 3-Zara puffy leopard skirt /4- leopard bag with tassel/ 5-Dior Mitzah Bricard Makeup Collection nail vernis 912: ebony deep brown, 622: camel beige

It's time to leave in the closet the topshop leopard fur i've worn a lot this winter but it doesn't mean i'm going to renounce to this animal print! I've found a lot of leopard clothes and accessories in shops and virtually i could wear leopard from head to toe (don't worry there's not a chance i'll do it!). I love the leopard scarf i found at H&M,it's giant,so big that could easily be used as a top knotted around the body. I couldn't resist buying the zara skirt above, the big pleats give a puffy effect to it,i'm happy the waisted skirt is back! Have you already worn a sheer blouse this spring? If not seriously consider it, it moves nicely around the body while you walk and you can find it in a variety of patterns. They're perfect worn alone or if you're shy under a blazer.
Leopard is like black, goes well with almost any color, i like to wear it with red right now.
What about you?Do you like the leopard print and how do you wear it?

Butterfly earrings

I really love enamel jewelry,i think enamel gives a vintage feeling to common low cost jewelry we buy nowadays. I saw these cute butterfly earrings at a ridicolous low price the other day and i couldn't do anything but buying them. Butterflies seem a perfect theme to start spring and if you like the look i saw them flying over a jacket in Zara april lookbook.

Ho trovato in vendita queste piccole farfalle l'altro giorno e non ho resistito all'acquisto.

DIY Stella MCCartney and Zara asymmetric shoes

inspirations

before
chalk tracingsstart cutting
halfway done

Here we are again.
Did you bet on the fact i would cut my version of the new zara asymmetric shoes?
Well i did.I've taken my scissors and cut a common pair of pointy shoes to asymmetric sexiness.
Let's get back for a moment. Those shoes which caused hysterical crysis in zara shops have been inspired by Stella MCCartney Morgana pointed slingbacks shoes you can buy at net a porter clicking on the name.
Have you ever realized how even something cheap can become exclusive when it isn't available in shops anymore?

DIY your own:

  1. buy a pair of suedette pointy shoes (this material will be easier to cut)
  2. look at the pictures of zara shoes and with a chalk draw the new asymmetric profile on the shoes
  3. with scissors cut the profile (manicure scissors will be fine, they're small and accurate)
  4. go over the shoes with a brush to erase chalk tracings
  5. shoes are made of several layers;if these layers open up at the side glue them together again with vynilic glue
and it's done!
These are my new favorites!I've chosen a medium heel for this project.
Pointy toe and sky high heel can be a deadly combination that can force you to wear these shoes only in special occations. That would be a shame for a pair of shoes that go with everything and can rock in many outfits during this spring.

Ci risiamo.

Zara asymmetric

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgugAvF-HBDaNDpznM2YJSQ0v11cLJmgBo59lT11XBhxyXgCkBo7z5wOvrjv_aPqROM5vbRsTY7bFoday8CcuhSop7wofSR-HzrQuv9n5yT2jQFYoPGEDxD0ZfqhjcrbS3JZTCu2Wc0jQI/s400/Zara+Asymmetrical+Shoe+Spring+2011.jpg
I fell in love with the sexiest pair of shoes, these asymmetric pair of zara from the spring collection.Asymmetric cut, pointy toe!If you're thinking they look unconfortable you're right (maybe just for me because i tried to shrink my feet in a smaller size and i had no luck). Too bad they were almost sold out in two stores i've been to.
A version with the lower heel is available in blue or yellow.
Even if i wasn't planning to buy black for spring, these beauties go on my list!
I'll obsessively stalk the online store.

Nice buys at Zara: another military jacket

http://static.zara.net/photos//2010/I/0/1/p/7901/209/401/7901209401_1_1_3.jpg?timestamp=1280326844068
Military jackets are my favorities. Last year the balmain military jackets were the most sought after. This year we can find in shops less decorated, detailed jackets with more clean design. The one you see above is from zara and i think it's nice for every day use over jeans going to university or over a tea dress at weekends.

D&G a/w 2010 is all about jacquard, the look for less by ZARA

Winter is arriving and D&G brought back the jacquard. This picture let us think at snowy vacations. Are these pieces fashionable? Once i saw these sweaters in a shop on a mountain at 1500m. And who can pull off that daring jumpsuit?
If you like the look, zara already have something for you, check it out!

Zara shop is online!

Are you in Europe? Fine you can shop online and Zara will knock on your door!
I don't have a Zara shop nearby so i'm glad they opened the online shop!
Things i love:
