Valentino inspired studded shoes DIY

le scarpe prima del trattamento

the inspiration: Valentino studded shoes

a pair of shoes

a long belt

gold studs

un paio di scarpe

una cinta

borchie a volontà

to make the pattern of the border of the shoes i've wrapped them with plastic film

per fare il modello dello scollo della scarpa l'ho avvolta con la pellicola

I've marked the border

ho ricalcato il bordo

I've taken off the plastic and adjusted its width

ho tolto la plastica dalla scarpa e regolato la larghezza del modello

I've cut the leather following the pattern

Ho ritagliato la pelle seguendo il modello

I have added the studs

Ho aggiunto le borchie

I tried the piece onto the shoe

Ho fatto la prova del pezzo sulla scarpa

I've folded and glued the border

Ho ripiegato e incollato i bordi

I've tried on the shoe and wrapped my foot with paper and scotch

Ho infilato la scarpa e ho avvolto il piede di carta e l'ho fermato con lo scotch

I've drawn the straps onto the pattern

Con un pennarello ho disegnato la posizione dei laccetti

And this is the pattern

Ecco il modello della scarpa

On the inside of the belt you can see that the borders are folded and glued. I've unglued them and added the studs to obtain a well refined straps

Sul lato interno della cintura potete notare che i bordi sono ripiegati e incollati, basterà scollare i bordi e aggiungere le borchie per ottenere dei laccetti ben rifiniti

At this point i've followed the pattern and sewed the straps together

A questo punto ho seguito il modello e ho cucito i laccetti insieme

I've then glued everything onto the shoes and added press stud buttons!

Ho incollato tutto sulla scarpa e aggiunto dei bottoni automatici per fissarle alla caviglia!

Two things i love

There are two things in my life i'm never bored of: new shoes and my coffee in the mornin,this design,incredibly, have both.
These unconventional shoes are like those paintings with optical illusion: you look once you see a vase, the second time you see a couple kissing. You look once you see a boot, at a closer look, it's coffeepot pouring coffee!
Kobi Levi's design amazes everytime, if you don't like his humour you may say "what the hell is that?" but his shoes certaintly won't go unnoticed!

Ci sono due cose di cui non posso fare a meno: nuove scarpe e caffè e questo design,incredibile a dirsi coniuga entrambi.

Queste scarpe sono come quei dipinti con l'illlusione ottica: li guardi una volta e vedi un vaso, la seconda volta una coppia che si bacia. Qui vedi uno stivaletto e guardando meglio ecco che invece vedi la brocca che versa il caffè!

Kobi Levi riesce ogni volta a lasciarci di stucco. Se non siete fan del suo humour esclamerete: "Che diavolo di scarpe sono?" e avreste una reazione negativa, ma in ogni caso non potrete rimanere indifferenti.

Shoes from fall collections are chilly so they started to wear furs. They're funny and possibly diyable (maybe using a fluffy scarf?)What do you think? Are they wearable or not?

I would say "smile and be positive" but the message embossed on the soles is kinda cool!
Wow!That's a diy inspiration and a unique way to deliver a message
You have two options:

write your own motto on the soles of your shoes,you can handwrite or use letter transfers.If you have shoes with real leather soles, they can be embossed
show this pic to your boyfriend and hope he will get the message:flowers with dedications are dead and gone,if you want to tell me something,say it with a shoe.

Io invece direi "sorridi e sii ottimista" però il messaggio sulla suola è davvero fantastico!
Se questa foto ha colpito anche voi avete due opzioni:

scrivete il vostro motto sulla suola della vostre scarpe,potete farlo con un pennarello indelebile a mano,oppure usare le lettere trasferibili;se avete delle scarpe con la suola in pelle allora potete far incidere il messaggio
mostrare questa foto al vostro ragazzo e sperare che colga il messaggio:mazzi di fiori con bigliettini sono morti e sepolti,se devi dirmi qualcosa dillo con un bel paio di scarpe nuove.

Vuitton meets the Zoo

Vuitton shoes for spring 2011 are funny.The attention is all on the heel climbed by an animal living in the savana,zebras and giraffes.
Speaking of dresses,the new collection it's a strange melting.It's a mix of oriental classic dresses with a strong art decò influence in the cuts and in the floral prints all with added animal prints and africa warm colour combinations for shoes.
There's something for everyone's taste.
Do you like this mix?
We find a lot of lace too:blouse,trousers,daring hot pants. It's not an everage lace, it has the louis vuitton logo all over it.

Le scarpe firmate Vuitton per la primavera sono davvero divertenti.L'attenzione è puntata sul tallone sul quale si arrampica un animale della savana,zebre e giraffe,anche il tacco è una piccola scultura, è una zampa!
Parlando di vestiti invece la nuova collezione è uno strano mix di culture. I vestiti classici orientali si mescolano ai modelli scivolosi art deco e alle stampe floreali. Ma ci sono anche le stampe animalier e le scarpe appena sfuggite dallo zoo.
A voi piace questo mix?
C'è anche il pizzo per le camicette,pantaloni e audaci maxi coulotte!Non è un pizzo normale però, ha il marchio della maison!
