Here is another proposition from fall/winter 2009 collection from Christian Louboutin. This wedge has Swarovski crystals. It’s all sparkly and it might be a great shoe for New Year’s Eve.

DIY Jil Sander color block wedges

Buy a pair of cord wedges

use acrylic colors

protect the shoes from stains with paper scotch tape and use it to define different color areas.
Paint and let it dry.

Cut out overknee DIY

These days i've been thinking on the use of tulle to give structure to a fabric.
What i've done here is a pair over-knee boots-leggings.
The use of tulle allow to cut off pieces of fabric and obtain unexpected graphical effects.
These overknee can be paired with colored tights or flashy leggings.
I could sew them on an existing pair of ankle boots but i left them without the feet so i'll be able to experiment them with open toe shoes too.
I've used a suede like fabric,stiffened it,cut it and then i've sewn on the back side a stiff tulle white fabric with silver thread.
What do you think of the result?
